Last year, Bethesda released the Doom + Doom 2 set, allowing you to play id Software’s classic games on modern hardware. The fact that remastering work was done by Nightdive Studios made the re-release better. Perhaps one of the most celebrated indie horror games of this generation, Phasmophobia continues to draw in players, thanks to its unique ghost hunting mechanics. Well, it seems to be doing fairly well for itself at the moment, evidence of how the indie scene can still make a splash in the cut-throat world of modern gaming. In fact, despite it seeming to come almost out of nowhere, it’s been making headlines, with it sitting on the number one spot on Steam’s Top Sellers list at the time of writing.
