It should absolutely come as no surprise to anyone that Doom: The Dark Ages will perpetuate that signature high-octane action we’ve come to know over the years. However, for those who actually wouldn’t mind something of a story, we’ll definitely be getting lashings of that, as evidenced in the new trailer. Maybe most of us are only in it for the thrill of pulverizing the denizens of hell, but the latest teaser does show some of the upcoming game’s more narrative side.

The Silent Hill 2 remake is not even cold, yet Bloober Team is showing no signs of slowing down. A few months ago, the studio announced its new horror title Cronos: The New Dawn. If what’s been shown so far is already giving you Dead Space vibes, wait until you see the gameplay trailer that’s been doing the rounds.

Last year, Bethesda released the Doom + Doom 2 set, allowing you to play id Software’s classic games on modern hardware. The fact that remastering work was done by Nightdive Studios made the re-release better. But for those of you who like physical copies of legendary first-person shooters, there’s something on the horizon. The good people over at Limited Run Games is set to launch a special edition of Doom, which will come with the original games plus all the extra content.

Perhaps one of the most celebrated indie horror games of this generation, Phasmophobia continues to draw in players, thanks to its unique ghost hunting mechanics. The team behind it is constantly tweaking it with updates a-plenty, and it’s recently been announced that the first event of 2025 will be coming soon. Across all platforms, the next update for the game will be rolling out from April 17 onwards, and will bring with it the “Cursed Hollow” event.

Both the 2016 reboot and 2020’s Eternal have more than proved that id Software’s legendary FPS is still capable of turning heads. In the run-up to the upcoming installment’s release, the developer has shared the new design for one of its most famous monsters, and it’s raising a few eyebrows.
