Labor is offering cuts to the lowest marginal tax rate, and an instant $1,000 tax deduction for work expenses. The Coalition is pledging a one-off tax offset for low and middle income earners, and will cut the fuel excise from 50.8 cents a litre to 25.4 cents for one year.
