WhatsApp announced Monday it will introduce its boldest advertising features yet, marking a significant shift for the messaging platform that has largely remained ad-free since its launch. The move is a sensitive one for WhatsApp, whose chief firmly denied a report in 2023 that said the Meta-owned app was exploring advertisements as it sought to boost revenue.

Queenslanders are licking their wounds after another NSW ambush at Suncorp Stadium, but south of the border, Blues fans are more than happy to stick the boot in. While the scoreline appeared close at 18-6, it was a near complete capitulation from the Maroons, who hardly looked like scoring, only taking advantage of a Brian To’o sin bin on the stroke of halftime to boot a penalty goal, before Xavier Coates scored in the 45th minute against 12 Blues.

For anyone who’s ever used a PC, Microsoft’s error message has been a source of frustration, despair or pure unadulterated rage for as long as the tech giant has been around. Rising protests against Elon Musk and his Tesla brand across the US have had a human cost with one woman revealing how she is “living in fear” after her car was attacked. Last week, a man in a four-wheel ATV crashed into the side of Virita Carstaffin’s red Tesla which was sitting in a carpark in Texas.
