Following plenty of rumblings, Goldberg has reiterated that he'll be having a retirement match in WWE before the year is up. Speaking to My San Antonio, Da Man discussed the training he's been doing for this swansong, with Bill training at the Black Diamond Martial Arts gym and even doing some work with Brendan O'Reilly, a mixed martial artist who spent a couple of years competing in the UFC between 2014 and 2016.

Following reports yesterday that AEW's Mariah May is expected to sign with WWE when her existing deal is up later this year, there's now a smidge of an update on this situation. Yesterday's Wrestling Observer Radio saw Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez both note how those they'd spoken to in WWE were aware that May was keen to sign with the market leader, while those they'd spoken to in AEW were under the impression that, yes, the Glamour was set to jump to WWE.

Having been with the company for 20 years by this point, Tetsuya Naito's time with New Japan Pro-Wrestling is coming to an end. The start of the month saw reports that Naito was working for NJPW without a contract, and New Japan themselves have now confirmed that Naito - and his Los Ingobernables de Japón cohort Bushi - will be finishing up with the promotion on May 4th.
