Having refined the prediction for the magnitude of the stimulation effect as a function of synchrony level, we aimed to test it by extracting the corresponding response behavior from the rat data. As outlined in the Materials and Methods section, the oscillation amplitude in the model represents a normalized amplitude corresponding to the level of synchrony.
