    Image of cut wire- via Huntsville OPPHuntsville OPP is investigating the theft of copper wire, causing an estimated $10,000 worth of damages. Authorities say the theft occurred between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on April 4, from a utility pole near Greer Road in Huntsville. According to police, the unknown parties severed and removed the approximately 1000 lbs of wire before loading it into their pickup truck.

    Barrie Police have charged a 34-year-old Wednesday morning after he refused to leave an apartment building stairwell. Authorities say they received a report of an unknown man sleeping in the stairwell of an apartment building on Wellington Street. According to police, the man entered the building as an actual tenant even though he was not. After making his way to the third floor, police say they found him sleeping in the stairwell.

    Huntsville OPP has arrested and charged a driver after they say he rear-ended a vehicle at a seatbelt enforcement check. According to police, on March 31, the driver struck the other vehicle on Highway 60 to Highway 11 southbound.
