1 Introduction The use of climate projections for impact assessment often exploits numerous climate and Earth system models (ESMs). The Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (Veronika Eyring et al., 2016) (CMIP) provides underpinning simulations to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) analysis of climate projections (Lee et al., 2021), changes in climate impact drivers (Ranasinghe et al., 2021), and assessment of impacts and vulnerability (IPCC, 2022).

Among children and adolescents, dental malocclusion has a prevalence between 39 per cent and 93 per cent. Along with caries and periodontal disease, malocclusion is one of the most pressing oral health problems, influencing masticatory function and causing suboptimal digestion and even malnutrition. It also affects mental health, making malocclusion a barrier towards a better quality of life.

Vape deals are all over the place in the run-up to Christmas. Vape kits, e-liquids and accessories are being widely promoted as stocking fillers, frequently with upwards of 50% off. There’s certainly a big market, with vapers in the UK alone, growing at nearly 10% a year. Many are no doubt attracted by all the bright colours and funky shapes, not to mention a to offer starter kits to one in five smokers to help make the nation “smoke-free” by 2030.

Low-pressure systems (LPSs) are the primary rainbringers of the South Asian monsoon. Yet, their interactions with the large-scale monsoon circulation, as well as the highly variable land and sea surfaces they pass over, are complex and generally not well understood. In this paper, we present a novel, top-down approach to investigate these relationships and quantify their importance in describing LPS behaviour.
