ANDREW WHITEWhat do we do now? I’m talking to Democrats. I am a Democrat mostly because I voted against Trump and his planned policies. I don’t want to Make America Great Again in the way Trump wants to make it great. But the truth is that Trump is going to get his way with most of his policies for the next four years. Supporting Trump are Cabinet members that are picked by their loyalty to Trump not their credentials and experience. Also, both Houses’ majority are Republican.

Because I am hearing impaired, I couldn’t watch the presidential debate. It must have been Trump’s flamboyant rhetoric that won the debate because when you look at the content of the debate, which I did from a transcript of the debate, Biden won. We live in a country where the media thrives on hype, and the more confident you appear the more likely you are to be trusted.

The issue of transgender is commonplace in current news. On many issues I am conservative, but in the case of transgender, I am somewhat more liberal. Actually, I think neither conservatives nor liberals will be happy with my assessment of transgender. As a mental health care professional, I have found that transgender is extremely rare. Gender dysphoria is a little more common — I have seen a handful. Every one of them had mental health problems predating their gender dysphoria.
