Mathieu Côté, the director of eclectic horror game Dead By Daylight, has something to admit. “I’ve famously always been a wuss,” he tells NME, grinning sheepishly over Zoom. “I used to have nightmares about Jabba the Hutt.” Creative director Dave Richard, who’s also on the call, laughs mercilessly at Côté.
