    Substitutions made the difference as Brighton kept themselves in the hunt for European Football with a 3-2 win over Liverpool at the Amex Stadium. Goals from Harvey Elliot and Dominik Szoboszlai either side of a Yasin Ayari equaliser saw the champions go into the halftime break ahead. Second half goals from substitutes Mitoma and Hinshelwood gave the hosts victory to end their season on a high at the Amex. Liverpool remain in first place, with only pride left to play for.

    Liverpool allowed a two-goal lead pass them by as they drew 2-2 with 10-men Arsenal in the Premier League at Anfield. Goals from Cody Gakpo and Luis Díaz in three first half minutes gave the hosts a 2-0 lead at the halftime break. Despite the commanding advantage, goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino, who was sent off nine minutes later, saw the visitors draw level.
