Pop superstar Billie Eilish is coming to Long Island this fall for two shows at the UBS Arena in Elmont. The shows, set for Oct. 25 and 26, are part of her newly announced second U.S. leg of the “Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour." The tour, which encompasses 23 arena shows, begins in October and runs through late November.

Over the decades, Long Island has been the inspiration for many scripted TV series, occasionally the scene of them too. From a network TV perspective, LI's got it all: The suburbs, the beaches, the Hamptons, the middle class, that iconic Lawn Guyland accent, all combining together for a special slice of American life next to America's greatest city. Most of the shows were never filmed here, because as LIers know so well, Long Island can be expensive.

"Friends” ended its 10-season run 20 years ago this week, before going on to becoming one TV's most successful shows in syndication and streaming.
