KTGR is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!This week features Columbia Independent tennis sophomore Wyatt Litton. Last Saturday at the Boonville Pirate Open, Wyatt finished second overall defeating players from Father Tolton, Fulton and Boonville. Wyatt also gained wins against Battle and Missouri Military Academy last week. “Wyatt leads our team in individual wins with an impressive 15-3 singles record,” said CIS tennis coach Laurel Owen.

KTGR is highlighting an outstanding local high school athlete each week!This week features Rock Bridge senior pitcher Jake Musick, who pitched a complete game shutout in a 1-0 extra-inning victory against #10 Eureka last weekend at the Columbia Tournament. Musick allowed just four hits and two walks while striking out nine batters in nine innings. “Jake has been one of our most reliable pitchers for the last two years at the Varsity level,” said Rock Bridge baseball coach Justin Towe.
