    During the specialised operation, the driver was seen travelling with both hands off the wheel whilst eating their breakfast. They were issued with a ticket due to the behaviour being 'dangerous' and does not leave someone in control of their vehicle.     Officers from Dorset Police were alerted to a reported shoplifting incident at the Tesco store in Easton after a PCSO was 'flagged down' by members of the public. Items which had been stolen included meat products, including steaks and sausages ,bottles of diet cola and alcoholic drinks, including vodka.   The shoplifter was detained after a second officer was called to assist.

    A new support group has opened in Dorchester supporting families in crisis (Image: Home Start Wessex) ​A NEW support group has opened to help families in crisis. Home Start Wessex said its latest Haven group opened at the Dorchester Family Hub. The free to attend groups help families dealing with mental health issues, homelessness and other challenges. Last year the charity transformed nearly 1,700 lives, helping a record number of 501 families.
