A new free dance class is being offered to boys in Bridport. Bridport Youth Dance (BYD) is holding free contemporary dance taster sessions for boys to enable the children to explore the techniques of this particular style of dance. Supported by Sport England to encourage more people to move and dance, the boys classes are a part of the BYD community outreach programme taking place throughout 2025.

The Bees found themselves behind to Newton Abbot Spurs on Saturday and it looked like the clubs unbeaten run would come to an end. However, goals from Ryan Gall, Harley Brook and 16-year-old George Geraghty saw Bridport salvage a point right at the death as the fans cheered them on.

Lorry on fire on a35 at Raymond Hill near Axminster (Image: Charmouth Fire Station) A lorry burst into flames along the A35 near Axminster early this morning. Just before 4am firefighters from Charmouth, along with a crew from Axminster and a water carrier from Bridport Fire Station, raced to a vehicle fire on the A35 at Raymonds Hill. In foggy conditions, the firefighters remained at the scene to manage traffic and secure the area until the lorry was recovered.
