The program involves decals with a butterfly and QR code on them. When scanned, the QR code leads people to the Wings webpage.

    A local nonprofit organization has launched a new program that offers free grab bars, handrails and other essential home modifications to Snohomish County residents. The Older Adult Home Modification Program (OAHMP) aims to help older adults live independently and safely in their own homes, according to a news release. Homage Senior Services runs the program.

    About 30 people gathered Wednesday at the Mountlake Terrace City Hall Council Chambers to learn about the city’s plan to create more housing. Seven poster boards stood in front of the dais, as well as two tables with sticky notes and pens on top. Some people wrote their thoughts on a sticky note and placed them on a few boards. On one of the sticky notes, someone indicated the importance of middle housing in their neighborhood.
