    The energy regulator confirmed that energy bills will fall by £129 in July. Ofgem said that the price cap will fall to £1,720 over the summer, a 7 per cent - or £129 - fall from the current price cap, which is set at £1,849 for a dual-fuel household.  It means households will pay 25.73p/kWh for electricity and 6.33p/kWh for gas, with standing charges of 51.37p and 29.82p, respectively.

Now there's a new kid, or monster, on the block that has flooded social media - the Labubu. Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung introduced the character in a picture book in 2015, before launching Labubu toys with Chinese toy company Pop Mart four years later.

    Barclays suffered a 'software issue' and not a cyber attack when its systems went down in January, its chief executive told MPs today. Speaking to the Treasury Select Committee this morning, Barclays boss Vim Maru apologised to customers for the IT outage on 31 January. Barclays customers experienced three days of outages, meaning they were unable to make essential transactions, including mortgage payments.

    Steve and Dave Joliffe are an overlooked British success story. The twins launched Topgolf in Watford in the 1990s, growing it into a worldwide business before selling it to golf brand Callaway in 2020 for $2billion (£1.5billion). The twins, who eschew most media and are rarely pictured, were among the first to marry sport and hospitality in a 'competitive socialising' venue, now ubiquitous in towns and cities globally.
