The Sol System had been in a state of perpetual warfare for many centuries. And there really is only 1 culprit: Mars. The Martian Empire is regarded as the most active threat to the peace of the overall Solar system, along with their less potent allies such as the Vulcanic Empire that lied closer to the Sun than Mercury, and the Void Marshaldom that inhabited the far outer solar system worlds such as Makemake, Quaoar, and Orcus. Mars started out as a relatively innocuous world.

We’re all people. That’s who we really are. Doesn’t matter if you’re the President of the USA, or some doctor in Beijing; we’re all just people trying to find our place in this weird and beautiful universe. I have had this realization. The same realization that Carl Sagan had, and no doubt countless others have had as well. We’re just a bunch of f***ing atoms fighting over dust motes, making ourselves sound bigger than we really are.
