With the introduction of products such as self-driving cars and chatbots using concepts such as LLMs and reinforcement learning, everyone is rightfully highly zealous of AI's benefits to our lives while others are cautiously wary of some of its dangers. I, as an economist, am in the latter because of the job displacement the AI revolution will cause and how many could lose their jobs to AI and become structurally unemployed(unemployed due to technological innovation in this case).
