Key PointsQuestion What is the association of adhering to process-based dental quality measures with oral health outcomes among US children? Findings This cohort study of 69 212 children and adolescents found that adhering to dental quality measures (topical fluoride application and sealant receipt) was associated with reduced risk of tooth decay. Benefits of adhering to these quality measures were greater among children at elevated vs low risk and with public vs commercial insurance.
