DiscussionSeveral NCDs share the same risk factors as stroke, and an intervention programme has the potential to address other NCDs and health in general and should overlap with other health-promoting strategies.3 In the proposed study, we will evaluate the MMD programme in regard to decreasing stroke risk by using broad strategies and addressing multiple factors of relevance.
