By Ann Lin 月白是哪種白？雨過天青又描繪著什麼樣的景色？秋香之色與味，為何如此迷人？暮山紫的風情，該何處尋？中華先民對顏色的認知，五彩斑斕，格外絢麗。傳統的中華顏色，色澤涵蓋領域廣泛而細膩，色彩的命名更是詩情畫意、風情萬種，不僅靈動優雅，也承載著數千年的文化底蘊和審美趣味。 五行五色之起源 華夏先民從觀察天地運行間，日出日落和時序更迭的自然景色中，得出青、赤、黃、白、黑為滋生宇宙天地的基本色調，從而與木、火、土、金、水，這五種構成宇宙萬物的基本要素相對應，建構出相生相剋而又生生不息的五行五色觀。關於五色觀的記載，最早見於上古文獻，專事記錄舜、禹和皋陶對話的《尚書．益稷》中。先民在俯仰大地，辨析生存空間方位的同時，也將這五種顏色對應到東、南、中、西、北，這五個方位。 「東方謂之青，南方謂之赤，西方謂之白，北方謂之黑。」節自《周禮．考工記》。青色屬木，含義是生，象徵著枝繁葉茂，萬物生機的東方；赤色屬火，代表火與太陽，象徵炎熱的南方；白屬金，原造字本意取的是陽光灑落於天地之間的景象，象徵著秋收的西方；黑色屬水，晦黯如深沉的大海，也有如大陸北方嚴峻未明的天空色澤。...

From December 1 through January 6 Epiphany, 12 houses on this block will display and illuminate at night one of the 12 Days of Christmas.
