Students, faculty, community members and businesses are encouraged to donate their gently worn business attire to the FSU Career Center’s Professional Clothing Closet. The annual Spring Cleaning with Meaning Clothing Drive will run from March 1 through April 1. Spring Cleaning with Meaning is an opportunity for the FSU Career Center to give back to students in need while spreading awareness of the Professional Clothing Closet.

    Florida State University’s Career Center will hold a conference designed to connect students with 30 distinguished alumni across leading public service organizations on Tuesday, Feb. 18. The Careers in Public Service Conference is open to current students and recent alumni across all majors and class levels. The Careers in Public Service Conference includes six panels through three concurrent sessions and features 24 distinguished alumni panelists.

    Florida State University students will soon have the opportunity to connect with more than 90 employers and explore potential internships and careers from leading organizations across a variety of industries. The Seminole Futures Career and Internship Fair is open to students of all majors and class levels, and community members, and takes place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Donald L. Tucker Civic Center.

    22 years ago, a band that would go on to sell record-breaking songs and albums was formed in Las Vegas. This little rock band turned out to be The Killers. The band has sold over 28 million records worldwide, and for Leamington Spa fans, there’s no doubt ‘Mr. Brightside’ has echoed through the town at some point. It’s a song that’s simply a part of British culture now.
