News On April 27, renowned Korean multidisciplinary artist Suki Seokyeong Kang passed away at the age of 48, after an extended battle with cancer. Born in 1977 in Seoul, Kang was originally trained in the East Asian tradition of ink painting at Ewha Womans University in the South Korean capital. In 2012, she graduated with an MA in painting from London’s Royal College of Art.

News Earlier this month, Chinese multidisciplinary artist Zhichao Huang (also known as Dennis Huang) passed away at the age of 84. He was best known for his eclectic and colorful compositions blending Eastern and Western painting styles, as well as small sculptures and ink paintings depicting pared-back or abstract forms. Huang was born in 1941 in Gulangyu, an island off the coast of Xiamen, but moved to Taiwan at 9 years old with his family.
