Before children talk they sing. The sad thing is we all sang and made music before someone told us we weren't talented! My toddler granddaughter loves music and singing so I saved this set of musical instruments for a time when were were all together as a family. Two-year-old, Lizzie distributed the instruments – xylophone, wooden sticks, tambourine, castanet, maraca, clarinet, wooden sounder, hand bells and rain sounder.

The Wow! board books from HarperCollins Children\s Books comprise a series of first concept books for today's children. Harriet loved the first two Wow! books we received and was equally delighted with Wow! Look at Me! and Wow! What a Party! illustrated by Alberta Torres. The books put three year olds in the centre of the action with relatable experiences that will help engender discussion, inclusivity, and empathy.

Spring, a new arrival in the family, or a departure, changes in circumstances or moving home all herald a time to clear the clutter. Getting rid of things you no longer need can be an uplifting experience: unwanted gifts, clothes you bought and never wore, bags you bought for a special occasion and never used since – it's a wonderful feeling being able to dispose of mistakes and do some good as well! I discovered Anglo Doorstep Collections on Facebook and immediately booked a collection.

I can't tell you the number of times I have had to verify and authenticate myself as well as prove I am not a robot for the simplest of logins etc https://t.co/o3QqRs2ITP

I cannot believe how inefficient @BritishGas is. Talk about left hand not knowing what the right is doing! Phoned to arrange an "urgent" boiler service to be told it was not due. No chance of speaking to a real person https://t.co/VIfTSnrYu0
