Tata Electronics is reportedly planning to increase the production of enclosures for Apple’s iPhones at its Hosur facility. “Tata Electronics is looking to double its existing capacity of around 50,000 enclosures,” a source told ET. Sources also told the publication that the company aims to double its capacity ahead of Apple’s September product launches. Inc42 has reached out to Tata Electronics for comments on the development.
