1. IntroductionRapid dietary changes are observed as an infant transitions from an exclusive milk diet to one that resembles that of the family [1,2,3,4]. To support those involved in the care of infants, guidelines have been developed to provide evidence-based nutrition recommendations. Guidelines provide population health advice on meeting nutrition requirements for growth, development, and the establishment of healthy behaviours [5].
