    Siptu has brokered a deal for members who work as development officers and administrative staff worth 3.5pc this year and next. Greg Ennis, Siptu deputy general secretary, said the increases will be linked to key performance indicators. He said the union will for the first time have an input on the metrics for these assessments during a review. He said members’ pay was cut by 5pc in 2011 and was not restored until 2018, and increases of 3.5pc were paid in each of the last two years.
