    Pupils from an Edinburgh school are gearing up to race an electric kit car they have built themselves in class. Students from Queensferry High School built the DIY vehicle from scratch in just a matter of months, with the aim of racing it against other schools at East Fortune Race Circuit in the spring. The project was supported by local housebuilders Cala Homes (East) and Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, as well as the Edinburgh Airport Community Fund.

    Scottish based PR, Social and Digital agency, Tigerbond, has unveiled Tigers in the Wild, a project that will give a year’s worth of pro bono support to deserving community causes across the UK. The initiative will see its 80-strong team across London, Leeds, Manchester, Glasgow and Belfast deliver a year’s worth of team time and expertise to charities, not for profits, community groups and start-ups.

The Community Pledge sees bespoke programmes of activity created for the local area in which Cala is building, designed in collaboration with the local communities they support to ensure specific local needs are addressed, bringing measurable, meaningful benefit.
