Recently they released a movie about their experiences.

In a world where things sometimes seem to go backwards, Mandidextrous keeps moving forwards. They recently launched a new label, Speedbass Recording, where they showcase their signature sound, full of 4×4, bassline, jungle, and tek flavours. The first official release, ‘Needed You’, has been doing bits. Inviting BEANIE, Gea, and Samurai Breaks to the label, the next few releases are looking promising too. Mandidextrous truly is a versatile artist.

2024 was a year in which Koven reached a lot of milestones, both on a professional and personal level. The biggest of them all, though? The duo celebrated 10 years since Katie, their vocalist, joined. In those 10 years, Koven went through some changes, and experimented with their sound, but always stayed true to themselves. “We’ve never tried to fit in with trends because honestly, we don’t know how to,” Katie tells us.

There’s never a bad time to redefine yourself, and SHOSH is the latest example of this. After 10 years of being at the forefront of garage with 24 Hour Garage Girls, she thought it was time for something different. This does not mean she’s done with garage, though. She’s still got her weekly show on KISS FM and is still incredibly passionate about building up the scene and supporting the underground movement. While trying something different, the right direction turned out to be dubstep.

This scene is where he really learned the ropes and got into producing, sampling from random €1 vinyls and picking out tunes in his favourite record shops. And when you discover he’s from Antwerp, a city with a vibrant underground scene full of undiscovered gems, things will start to click.
