1. IntroductionAlzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects millions of people worldwide, particularly the elderly. According to a WHO report in 2019, approximately 50 million people worldwide suffer from AD, with an incidence rate for dementia of 712 cases per 100,000 people globally in 2016 [1].
