A diner who had too much to drink fell on a dinner table and impaled his head on a more than 15-inch-long metal rod that pierced through his mouth at a restaurant in China. The diner was eating with his co-workers when he stood up and slipped, falling onto a table, on which there was a long metal rod, South China Morning News reported. The intoxicated man, named only as Aqiang, was impaled on the rod, which went through his mouth and deep into his skull, according to the report.

An American Airlines flight from JFK airport to Delhi was forced to divert to Rome after a bomb threat on board. The 199 passengers and 15 crew members on American Airlines Flight 292 endured nearly 15 hours stuck on the plane as a result of the scare. The flight was just two hours from its destination when it made an abrupt U-turn over the Central Asian country of Turkmenistan due to a “possible security issue,” the airline confirmed. It was escorted by Italian fighter jets.

A TEEN girl who shot dead a teacher and a fellow student before turning the gun on herself at a Christian school was pictured on a gun range with a rifle, and wearing a T-shirt also worn by one of the Columbine killers. Natalie Rupnow's motive for the horror shooting at the Abundant Life Christian School in Madison, Wisconsin, is still unknown. Authorities say Rupnow, 15, was dealing with issues at home and at school, and that she wrote a "manifesto" that was posted online.
