Pickup trucks, by their very nature, are meant to be useful, utilitarian items. When these were first conceived, the idea that they would one day boast 700+ horsepower and be capable of jumping over a river would have probably sent a few engineers to an early grave, but this is now the world we live in, and frankly, it's not as impressive as it used to be.
