Big news out of Maryland this week, and no we’re not talking about the Raven’s win over the undefeated Buffalo Bills. Rather, the Maryland Occupational Safety and Health Administration (“MOSH”) is now the first State Plan on the East Coast, to develop and enact a specific , which went into effect on, September 30, 2024. As of August 2024, only five States – California, Minnesota, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado – had promulgated specific heat standards.
