In a polarized atmosphere, almost everyone can agree this election has been one of the most unpredictable in history. The Georgia Election Board voted to require hand-counted ballots in a 3-2 decision as a way of addressing concerns the majority of Americans have regarding the transparency of our election results. Election integrity is certainly a prevailing issue and I believe this is a proactive measure to unequivocally ensure United States elections are honest. The decision was made as an attempt to make elections in the state more secure.
