ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. -- A Scottsville, Kentucky man is charged with promoting human trafficking. The Allen County Sheriff's Office responded to a complaint on April 30 that a man sent a female under 18-years-old inappropriate, explicit messages. According to the sheriff's office, the messages entailed his attempt to solicit her to "procure a minor for forced sexual activity."Deputies arrested 40-year-old Michael Weaver on the evening of May 2.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A ground stop was ordered at Nashville International Airport this afternoon. The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop on Sunday for about an hour. Their website said there is a traffic management (ground stop) program in effect for traffic at BNA due to staffing. The FAA responded to FOX 17 News for a statement:A ground stop was issued for Nashville International Airport in Tennessee this afternoon for approximately 60 minutes due to a staffing issue.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- A motorcyclist died after crashing into a car in Hermitage. The collision occurred at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday on Lebanon Pike at Wellington Square. The motorcyclist is identified by Metro Nashville Police as 27-year-old Tyler Davis, of Nashville. Police said Davis hit the driver's side of a pickup truck pulling out. They said the preliminary contributing factor to the crash is speeding. The driver told police that he didn't see any vehicles approaching.

MCMINNVILLE, Tenn. -- A missing 2-year-old out of McMinnville has prompted an endangered child alert. The alert went out at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday for Billy McKinley, Jr., last seen on Falcon Drive with his non-custodial parent Billy McKinley, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, who issued the alert on behalf of the McMinnville Police Department. The 54-year-old is wanted for especially aggravated kidnapping and custodial interference.

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. -- A plane slid off the runway at the airport in Crossville. Before the plane slid off the runway at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, it made a hard landing at the Crossville Memorial Airport, said the FAA.
