    HENRY COUNTY, Tenn. -- Damage is reported following storms in Henry County this morning. A barn is destroyed and four homes on Pleasant Hill received minimal damage after a tornado warning sounded in Southeastern Henry County at 5:09 a.m., said Henry County Emergency Management. No injuries are reported. The damage is believed to have been caused by straight-line winds, said HCEM. Several trees were downed in the Springville areas of Popular grove Rd and Hwy 69A South, as well as some utility lines.

    MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- A domestic situation in Murfreesboro turned deadly after an armed, barricaded subject threatens police. A domestic call at a home on the 2600 block of Goose Creek Lane on Sunday afternoon prompted a heavy police response. When officers arrived, they encountered a man who they said pointed a shotgun at them, and verbally threatened them, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Two officers fired shots at the man as the situation escalated, the TBI said.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Metro Nashville Police Department's Street Racer Initiative netted two arrests during apparent car meetups. Joshua Gongora, 27, of San Benito, Texas, is arrested early Sunday morning and charged with inciting a riot after police said he lit fireworks at Blue Hole Road and Bell Road near Antioch in front of about 50 cars during an intersection takeover. He also faces charges of evading arrest, resisting arrest, drug possession, disorderly conduct and obstructing a passageway.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Foul play is suspected in a suspicious death investigation at a motel near Donelson. Metro Nashville Police were called to the Red Roof Plus, 510 Claridge Drive, on Thursday after a man is found dead in the bathtub. Police identified him as 65-year-old Joseph Williams, of Nashville. Williams had been living at the motel for several months, police said. A motel employee discovered Williams lying on his back in the bathtub, fully-clothed, according to police.
