OMAHA (DTN) -- Corn planting was slightly behind the average pace, and winter wheat conditions fell slightly last week, according to USDA NASS's weekly Crop Progress report released on Monday. NASS estimated U.S. winter wheat condition at 47% good to excellent, down 1 point from 48% the previous week. The crop was 8% headed. Corn was 4% planted, and soybeans were 2% planted. OMAHA (DTN) -- U.S. winter wheat conditions jumped again last week, USDA NASS said in its final national Crop Progress report of 2024 released on Monday. The weekly reports will resume on Monday, April 7, 2025. Winter wheat was 97% planted and 89% emerged. Winter wheat condition was rated 55% good to excellent, up 6 points from 49% the previous week. OMAHA (DTN) -- The corn and soybean harvests were nearly complete by the end of last week, according to USDA NASS' weekly national Crop Progress report released on Tuesday. The report is normally released on Mondays but was delayed this week due to the Veterans Day holiday. Corn was 95% harvested, and soybeans were 96% harvested as of Sunday, Nov. 10. Winter wheat was 91% planted and 76% emerged. Winter wheat condition was rated 44% good to excellent, up 3 points from 41% the previous week.
