During Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the company unveiled a new theme song for the show, provided by popular Canadian rock band Sum 41. Tonight’s show opened with the song “You Wanted War” from the band, providing the new sound for the show. The song itself comes from Sum 41’s Heaven :x: Hell, its eighth and final studio album, released in March 2024.

The match came together after a backstage segment on RAW, where Mysterio and The Judgment Day were informed of the match. AJ Styles was also on hand, and said he would be coming after the winner of the match.
