CCI Global: African BPO firm expands presence in Europe

Six months after opening its first European base at the Platform94 technology hub in Galway, Ireland, customer engagement and business process outsourcing firm CCI Global has expanded its operation. It is moving from a three-desk startup space into a 30-person office unit. The new office space will provide the capacity needed to support CCI’s “ambitious growth plans” in the region, it said, with room to scale its team “steadily over the coming months”.

Jones was formerly corporate sales director for the UK and Ireland at Softcat. -Supply chain simulation technology organisation Kallikor has brought in Chris Brett as chief technology and product officer to “transform supply chain decision-making”. Brett, former head of robotics at Ocado, has over 18 years of experience in developing intelligent automation and simulation systems.

Infinigate has delivered €2.7 billion in revenue in financial year 2024-2025, marking an increase of 17.5% year-over-year, helped by markets outside Europe. “Despite an unstable macro-economic background, Infinigate delivered strong results for the last financial year, putting the company on track for its €5 billion revenue target for financial year 2027-2028,” said the international distributor. Growth across Europe reached 9% despite those unstable macro-economic conditions.

States of Guernsey IT work worth millions up for grabs after contract axe

The States of Guernsey is terminating its £200m contract with Agilisys, the IT infrastructure services provider, half-way through the ten-year deal signed in 2019. This leaves an opening for multiple alternative services providers. The Channel Islands local authority suffered serious IT outages in 2023, that affected benefits payments and a hospital, but its own recent report into ongoing problems admitted a lack of internal management of the Agilisys contract was a big factor.
