The Apothecary Diaries is definitely engrossing, especially through Maomao’s herb-sniffing cleverness along with the Tang dynasty vibes. The series provides wonderful visuals and twisty mysteries, which are worth an excellent 8.5 rating on IMDb. However, not every episode is a banger, and there are some episodes that have received the lowest ratings. Three episodes in The Apothecary Diaries have got a 7.5 IMDb rating, which is not bad, but against the show’s usual 8s and 9s, they’re kinda meh.

To Be Hero X is a total mind-bender. I love this donghua, and its concept of superheroes powered by public trust has given me plenty of content to keep me hooked. And Episode 4? That hit me hard. Moon, straight up shot dead by someone who looks like E-Soul. The show is full of some wild twists and turns, like Lin taking over for Nice, who we all thought would be the main character. So now I know not to trust what I see, even in the case of Moon’s murder.

There is no denying that To Be Hero X is a visual feast. The Chinese donghua from director Li Haoling sells its coolness with fighting scenes, animated with 2D and 3D aspects, and an absurd premise of a hero’s powers being related to the public’s trust in them. It has been one of the most interesting shows of Spring 2025, with fans expecting a big, heartfelt story to explore in a 24-episode endeavor. But here’s the kicker: To Be Hero X is straight up overlooking its side characters.

So, let’s talk about Bleach. This anime arrived straight on the scene with its amazing swordfights, cool character designs, and spooky aesthetics, and rightfully earned a place in the Big Three with Naruto and One Piece. Despite this, Bleach still suffers a social stigma for being “underwhelming” or a letdown in some way. Why? A lot of fans misunderstood what the series is actually about; there were loads of misconceptions about a variety of topics related to Bleach.

We can all agree that Demon Slayer is a straight-up phenomenon! Watching Tanjiro save Nezuko and fight Muzan freaking hit us hard while those exquisite visuals are equally great. But even though Tanjiro is pivotal to the story, it is the Hashira who somehow steal the spotlight whenever they show up. And the reason? They are totally badass demon slayers, made even cooler by their Breathing Styles and tragic pasts. We get to see moments like Rengoku’s fiery aura and Shinobu’s sneaky revenge.
