When Moncler’s chairman and CEO Remo Ruffini launched the Genius program in 2018, the logo was, and still is, a yellow apartment building with black windows. Ruffini said the idea was for each apartment window to feature a Genius. The Genius program sounds like a simple and familiar idea in concept—bring together talent across different industries to design limited edition product—but Moncler’s execution has far exceeded other brands’ approach to collaborations.

After eight years in business, MARKET is venturing into brick and mortar retail for the first time. The company is opening FISH MARKET, a New York City concept shop located on Broadway and Canal that will be open on July 20th through the end of the summer. The pop-up will then travel to MUSINSA, a fashion retail store in South Korea. After the Korean showing, there are plans to open a permanent shop on LaBrea that will be inspired by a Japanese convenience store and also house MARKET’s offices.

B.B. Simon’s success story isn’t just about hip-hop, but immigrant entrepreneurship. Here's how an Iranian asylee began designing belts in LA during the 1980s And how a Black German immigrant obsessed with rap put the belts on NYC rappers in the 2000s. https://t.co/JOufQMfbGT https://t.co/Yuo7raYtku
