Cal Dental USA has partnered with former MLB player Yasiel Puig and XSport Mouthguards to create a mouthguard to prevent oral and facial injuries in baseball. The custom-fitted mouthguards will be available beginning in September at participating Cal Dental USA offices, youth organizations and online, according to a June 3 news release. Cal Dental previously partnered with XSport and former NFL player Tiki Barber to expand the use of mouthguards to help prevent Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy.
