Where can you find an assortment of unique horror stories tucked away in a beautiful mountain town? At the Telluride Horror Show, of course! Taking place this year from October 11th through the 14th. This week, they announced their full lineup and schedule, and we couldn’t be more stoked to go settle in for an October weekend full of horror fun. There will be featured authors offering readings and signings, and several blocks of short films themed like visual playlists.

What if you travelled in time, but arrived in a place that looks just like your world? That's what happens to samurai Kyoichiro Kazami (Norimasa Fuke) in Jun'ichi Yasuda's A Samurai in Time, which had its European premiere at FrightFest 2024. Struck by lightning during a sword fight, Kazami is suddenly transported to the present day, on a film set where a studio happens to be shooting a samurai TV show. It takes him a while to realize he doesn't know where he is.

Part character study, part race-against-the-clock mystery, Dead Mail, directed by Joe DeBoer and Kyle McConaghy, is an interesting analysis of how hard it is to find someone, even if they want to be found. Premiering at FrightFest 2024, Dead Mail is the story of a kidnapped man who manages to drop a note pleading for help into the nearest mailbox. With very little identifying information, the Post Office tries to decipher where the anonymous note-writer is being held before it's too late.

Olivia (Kunschik) and Reid (Gold) are expecting a baby and just got engaged to be married. They seem to have a perfect life, But after their engagement party at Reid's parents' luxury cabin in the woods, they try to take an unfamiliar route home.
