After India went down 3-1 to Australia in the much hyped Border- Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 , one surely expected the BCCI to take tough calls keeping in mind the future. But sadly like in the past umpteenth times the so called review meet that reportedly took place in Mumbai ended as a damp squib. Skipper Rohit Sharma will take his time when to retire. So too will be batting mainstay and superstar Virat Kohli . Both the iconic duo had a torrid time in Australia.

Carrying on the momentum from Melbourne, Australia regained the BGT trophy after 2014-15 as they outplayed India in the fifth Test at Sydney by 6 wickets. Australia thus clinched the much hyped five- match Test series emphatically by a 3-1 margin . Earlier , In a dramatic turn of events citing poor personal form India skipper Rohit Sharma opted out of the Test. Jasprit Bumrah Led India instead. Bumrah won the toss and opted to bat first.

Australia have bounced back in tremendous fashion after losing the first Test at Perth by 295 runs. They levelled the series with a 10 wicket win at Adelaide and now have taken 2-1 leader after routing India in the fourth Test at MCG ( Boxing Day Test) by 184 runs. Aussie Skipper Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first .

Well the much awaited political debut of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has begun . And viewers it has begun on an impressive note . Very much the way her Lok Sabha By- election win was from Wayanad by a record 4. 10 lakh votes. According to EC , Priyanka won by a margin of 4,10,931 with 6,22 338 votes. LDF’s Sathyan Mokeri was behind her with 2,11,407 votes and NDA’s Navya Haridas was in the third spot with 1,99,309 votes.
