1 Introduction Gliomas are the most common primary cranial tumors, and they arise from cancerous glial cells in the brain and spinal cord. In accordance with their malignancy level, gliomas are classified as low or high grade. For most glioma patients, early detection, complete surgical excision, and postoperative treatment with radiotherapy and chemotherapy yield good results (1).
