    If you’re looking for a houseplant with a fun, quirky appearance, add a goldfish plant to your collection. As you may have guessed, the pouch-like flowers resemble plump little goldfish along each trailing stem. Native to Brazil, goldfish plants (Nematanthus spp) actually grow as epiphytes in large trees, like orchids and Spanish moss. They also have a reputation for being a wee bit fussy. Most problems occur from insufficient light and overwatering.
