Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) is a common, immune-mediated, chronic inflammatory disease that affects both the skin and the musculoskeletal (MSK) system [1] and is associated with an increased cardiovascular risk [2]. Typically, the condition affects the skin before progressing to MSK involvement [3]. PsA presents in various clinical forms, predominantly affecting the peripheral joints but it can also involve the axial MSK system [4].
