    Dharamshala: For the first time, the Himachal Pradesh Assembly will feature Zero Hour during its four-day winter session, starting December 18 at Tapovan in Dharamshala. Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania announced this milestone during a press conference, stating that Zero Hour will be held daily from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm, allowing MLAs to raise public interest issues. To participate in Zero Hour, members must notify the Assembly Secretary at least 90 minutes before the session begins.

    Dharamshala: Agriculture Minister Prof. Chandra Kumar in Sunday stated that Himachal had made significant strides in promoting natural farming. As part of the government’s guarantee, the state has become a pioneer in offering the highest minimum support price (MSP) in the country for wheat and maize. Natural farming wheat is being purchased at ?40 per kg, and maize at ?30 per kg, benefiting 1,506 farmer families, with over 4,000 quintals of maize already procured, said Chandra Kumar.
