Ending the week with some nice, comfortable conditions! Expect a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the upper 70s. I wish it was going to be as nice for Father’s Day weekend, but OF COURSE, some rain is going to move in. Skies will turn cloudy overnight with rain developing by morning. Rain will be moving across the state for the first half of Saturday. I’m cautiously optimistic that we’ll dry out in the afternoon, but we won’t be able to shake the clouds.

It was a bright and very warm Thursday with highs near 90 degrees! Friday looks nice with seasonable highs near 80 degrees inland(cooler shore). Saturday is looking wet and cool with highs in the 60s. The good news is Sunday(Father’s Day) is now looking mainly dry with highs around 70 degrees!! Tonight: Becoming mostly cloudy with a passing shower possible before dawn. Lows in the upper 50s to upper 60s by dawn. Friday: Partly sunny, pleasant. Highs around 80 inland. Cooler SE Beaches.

CONNECTICUT (WTNH) — Have you felt like it’s rained every weekend lately? Turns out. it has! 15 might’ve been the magical number in 101 Dalmatians — it’s anything BUT a magical number for Connecticut, which has had 15 soggy weekends in a row. The rain has put a damper on so many outdoor plans, from proms, to parades, to graduations, dog walks, weddings and more. Starting from March 1 and 2to this past weekend, we have had anywhere from a trace to over an inch of rain each weekend.

Typical Saturday–clouds and showers! It is a dry, albeit muggy start with patchy fog. We will see showers develop later this morning and continue through the afternoon. This will definitely affect some outdoor plans, so my apologies in advance. It will be cooler, but still humid with highs in the low 70s. At least Sunday will be drier! I don’t think we’ll see a lot of sunshine tomorrow since the clouds will drag their heels, but there will be some breaks and blue sky with lower humidity.

This shows you just how flat #Florida is—a beauty of a cumulonimbus cloud, but the storm is 28 miles away. https://t.co/IL4v2hcfkM
