United Way of Lancaster County is partnering with the USDA and the S.C. Department of Social Services to provide access to fresh, nutritious, unprocessed fruits and vegetables from local farmers markets to qualified Lancaster County residents ages 60 and older. The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program began in 2001 and is familiar to the senior adults of Lancaster County, but serves as the newest addition to United Way’s efforts to serve the people of Lancaster County.
