WITH URBAN IMPACT. IT’S BEEN A WEEK OF COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR THE STEELERS ROOKIES. TUESDAY TOOK THEM TO PITTSBURGH’S NORTH SIDE WITH URBAN IMPACT. WITH THE WEATHER TUESDAY AFTERNOON, THINGS WERE MOVED INSIDE, BUT FUN WAS STILL HAD. THERE WERE FOUR STATIONS FOR KIDS TO ENJOY THAT INCLUDED A Q&A, A PHOTO BOOTH, AND FOOTBALL DRILLS. AND FOR MOST ROOKIES WHO ARE NEW TO PITTSBURGH, IT’S A CHANCE FOR THEM TO GET OUT AND GET TO KNOW THE COMMUNITY. IT MEANS A LOT, MAN, JUST FOR US BEING ROOKIES.

The first round of Steelers organized team activities on the South Side came to an end Thursday, and rookie quarterback Will Howard said he has gotten more comfortable as the week went on. "It's fun, man. It's football, and it's crazy that football is my job now," Howard said. While Howard is grateful for the opportunity, the sixth-round draft pick has been hard at work throughout the week and spent extra time after practice Thursday.

Troy Fautanu's rookie year with the Pittsburgh Steelers ended almost immediately after it began.
